I retired after a full career including shuttle support in the MOCR and range safety. What stayed with me through life was watching the Saturn V launches and staying up to watch the first moon landing. I started modeling at about age 8 so that’s many decades building all the various model types; plastic kits, wooden ships, balsa planes, scratch building, even paper. I am really enjoying the new modeling revolution, 3D printing.
