I have been building models for more than 40 years. As a boy my dad never encorged my model building, as he thought the money would be better spent on power tools! I went on to a carrear in law enforcement, and was.o.I.c. of the bomb disposal unit for the county in upstate NY. putting my skills and pasion for modeling to good use I started my own company building models for govermental law enforcement agencies world wide, and have done some non restricted models for tv. My work is also on display at the ATF building in D.C. at the zenith of my carrear, I had a bad motorcycle accident hitting a deer at 70mph which left me dissabled. I model now when I can purely for the enjoyment, and for theraputic reasons. I am trying to re build all of the models that I built in my younger years, only better! I build anything i can get my hands on, tanks planes, boats, spacecraft, and science ficttion.My workshop when I can get to it is state of the art, having been built to produce contract work models by the thousands it now produces one or two models a month but they give me great joy i build alot of models at bedside much to my wifes complaints of sprue parts in the sheets! Lol I also incorperate lighting and pyro effects into my builds, one such model compleated is Tamiya’s motorized WWI MK5 tank in a battelfeild diorama with sound and smoke/arti effects, the tank is mounted just above the base so with a push of a button the treads function. Despite what my father said I find modeling one of the greatest joys in life!
