I am in the UK, in the county of Shropshire and I am a retired scientist. I did some model making in my teens (mostly aircraft), but then career, family and kids rather got in the way. When I retired I thought I would have lots of spare time, so would take up model making again. The spare time has not yet arrived, but I did start on modelmaking; so far almost all have been wooden ship models from the 1900’s and earlier.

I have just finished the HMS Bounty, and have decided to have a change and go for aircraft again.
