My latest build, the Zoukei Mura 1:32 scale Shinden. This is the “Oh, my godess” rebox, which I believe is a Shinden that has a part in a japanese cartoon. The kit comes with decals for the cartoon version and the “warbird” version.
During the build I discovered that I had the talent to create new words by combining two excisting ones… and for some reason they always started with a “F” or a…“F” ![]()
I knew the kit wasn’t a “shake 'n bake” -kit but I didn’t expected it to be a " 2 kilo’s of flour, 5 eggs, a gallon of milk, add 20 spoons of sugar, stir it for 2 days"-kit…
After a good start the build went very slow. the engine didn’t fit well in the fuselage. The parts for the cowling and gunbay didn’t fit well, I had to cut the panels of the cowling to make them fit properly, and cut a part of the "gun bay"wall to give the panels agood fit. I omitted the guns and only used the end of the barrels.
but in the end , I think, it turned out nice…

I used Tamiya acrylics for the plane, IJN Green, IJN Grey, Flat red for the hinomarus, yellow with a dot of red for the IFF. Chipping is done with revell enamels ( silver , green on top, silver and grey on bottom) , wheels are weathered with Revell enamels, Tamiya weathering pastels. Wash is done with Vallejo, black and sepia. Exhaust stains are done with Tamiya acrylics ( black and a couple of brown and sand colours.)
The complete build can be seen here on a Dutch forum;
