My wife of 17 years understands my hobby. She knows that sometimes I have to spend a bit of time cut off from the rest of the family. But I also carefully divide family time and hobby time so that the family gets the major portion (and best) part of my life.
You gotta make compromises in life, or it all goes in the crapper. No fun there…

does this include ex-wives? if so, Id rather build a warped Heller kit with missing parts and old decals. But, Id wouldnt take not even Tamiyas Enterprise kit over my girlfriend(one day my wife hopefully) Shes been more supportive for my hobby and shows than even my parents were.

My wife definetly. There would be no satisfaction for me if I didn’t get to show her the different stages of my models that I have completed.I feel a great sense of accomplishment when she says wow that looks great.
