You can see right thru the 52

I don’t know how many of you were around when I first posted this build, It’s been a while. I never really finished it till tonight. I had always intended to open the doors on this model but other builds got in the way. So something made me pull this beast off the bottom shelf, and start cutting.

Anyhoo…here she is finally completed after over a year…I think.

Oh…and this was the first time I used stretched sprue for rigging wire. I’ll never use anything else again. Works like a dream.

Cheers,

Jerry

Looks good Jerry. Very nice build.

Regards, Rick

I’d say it looks very good! What kit/scale is it?

Very nice! That’s the Pro-Modeler 1/48 kit, right? I just finished that kit earlier this year and I could certainly see the desire to open up that bird. Great paint job, also!

Danny Boy calling Broadsword…

looks even better, nice work Jerry

Hey, Jerry -
That looks great.
Were the open hatches scratchbuilt or from the kit - or were they resin aftermarket bits?
Nice job.

Beautiful as usual Jerry…must be something in the water out there. I 'll have to drink a lot (of the water[;)]) next time I see my sister.

Nice camo… free hand or fun-tac?

Neat idea, Jerry. Well executed.

Thanks alot guys. I definitely want to build another one of these.

Jabbe…ProModeler 1/48

Leetree…the hatches and doors are just cut outs of the kit fuselage. The interior detail on this kit is amazing.

Marc…It’s not the water…it’s the beer. The camo was sprayed free hand.

Thanks again, Jerry

Very nice Jerry, that would make a great diorama piece.
