Man, that’s huge! what scale is that, 1/24?
Man you would need DEEP pockets to buy one of those.
stares at his 8-inch long, 1/700th scale waterline model Victory ship, glances back at web page, goes off shaking his head
Just think of the detail you can pack into that baby every little knot, and the figures too.

You can find smaller versions here if you like.

These appeared about the same time as the Master and Commander movie.

Well Jake, I have a lot more practicing to do at sailing my Fairwind before taking the helm of that beauty. I have problems keeping two sails out of irons let alone a dozen.
Umi, those SC&H LTD. models are quit the scale models for the price. Although they have a lot of fiberglass and composites instead of traditional materials in the build up, they have a reputation of being good sailers.
I keep telling my wife that I’m getting a boat someday. She keeps thinking it will be a ski, pontoon, bass, or sailboat. Well, it will have sails, but will also have 32 cannons as well.[:D]
For the price of a good used car, I can have my own 5th rater to sail.[oX)] Har Har Har! Oh what fun it would be to do privateering raids on a fleet of geese.
