This came in the mail yesterday as a gift from a Canadian brother that knows how much I love to build SPGs.
I didn’t even know the 4.7cm PAK(t) Auf G.W. R-35 could be had in kit form. Talk about being on cloud 9 is an understatement and it sure will look good along side the Marder 1 (Hotchkiss) i’m building for the Marder Madness Project.
My heart felt Thanks goes out to J. Knaus for his thoughtfulness.[t$t]
I really like the look of this! [Y] Tony has to do a WIP on this… who knows he will bring in more SPG fans? I can’t figure out what chassis it was built on… can’t be German… maybe French who hasn’t fired a shot.
Why Thank You Andy,I do my best.[:D] SPGs are a lot more trouble to build and I understand why not as many people build them. They just trip my trigger and I can’t help myself.[ht]
Can’t think of it ending up in a more capable set of hands than yours Tony! [B] Looks like a great early Christmas present for sure, now you just have to find the bench space and time to devote to it. [;)]
Don’t know enough about this one. Have seen it before, but it’s rather neglected. I’m thinking that not too many got produced. I suppose the majority of the Czech guns went to the Panzerjaeger I.
