Yellow wings G B feeler

OK, so the hollidays are comming up soon and we might actually get some model build time!

Any one interested in a GB dedicated to US ARMY and US NAVY yellow winged pre-war aircraft?

I am thinking of the trainers, T-6’s Dauntlesses , basically anything that had the yellow wing scheeme.

Yes, I’m interested as I stashed an 1/48 OS 2U Kingfisher I’ve been wanting to do with the prewar yellow wing configuration.

In the immortal words of Arte Johnson - “Hmmmmmmmm…Very interesting…”. I’ve got a Brewster F2A that would work. And the US Navy recently painted up some of their trainers (T-45 Goshawks) and a few other planes for their 100th anniversary celebration in the Yellow Wings scheme. Would those count?

Yea that could work too. I ha e seen F-16 in that scheeme. Anything the US forces had that had or has that color scheeme will be ok i recon.

Boy, my plate is pretty full right now. What dates are you talkin? Although you know I just can’t resist a GB.

Nothing set i n stone yet, I was thinking 1 Dec '14 untill 31 May '15 maybe…

There are so many subjects to chose from. All the way from PT- series trainers to the F-16’s painted that way now.

I’d love to, I have a stash of yellow-wings kits in 1/48. But I’m already behind on several other GBs, here and in other forums. I’ll have to pass.

I"ve been debating when to start my Stearman, I think this may be the perfect opportunity!

Oh a PT-17 defenetally falls into that catogory

I think I could throw in a Testors Ryan PT-20. Quick and easy!

Ya know Theuns,

If the GB gets running, I’ve always wanted to build a P-26 Peashooter. Useless little aircraft, but our first pursuit monoplane.

I’m in.

Ok great, I will go and post on the GB page, please post the kits you want to build so I can do the front page.

As a matter of interest, I just built that little testors PT20 a few months ago, pitty it has no cockpit detial though :frowning:
