Congrats, TB! Mrs. CTD had hers done last year. Since she had been near-sighted all her life, she opted to NOT get the lenses installed that would replicate her former vision. She has regretted that move. She would prefer to be able to take her glasses off to see up close, like she used to, instead of HAVING to wear glasses to do so. She now wears glasses full-time that correct for the close up stuff but are regular lenses for the distant stuff.

I had my eyes done about 3 years ago, I have used glasses for myopia (nearsighted) since I was 10 years old, ( I am now 79 years young ) and it was a revelation that I now do not have to wear glasses except to read. Sometimes I catch myself trying to adjust glasses that are no longer on my face, I guess it is hard to break the habit!
