I was woundering if anyone knows of the proper shade of grey for the IJN Yamato in 1/200 scale. thanks

That would be Kure Gray…try using FS# 36176 as a base, lighten it and drybrush with a lighter shade of that color and you’ll be right in the ball park.

Or…You can also simply go out and get Kure Gray…from Testor’s in the Acryl line, or from White Ensign in enamels.
