any info regarding the cockpit color of this plane as well as exterior colors?
Don’t know if this will help, but try here:
Interior was usually a medium gray. Exterior was often Top Side Green over Underside Blue. Black was also often used as a disruptive camo. There was also a dark gray over light grey disruptive camo that was used on many of the aircraft. You really need to check a reference for the aircraft you plan to represent.

Thanks Rick and one last question.
I looked around for the camo and I got the colors you told me. Are these colors available here in US?
thanks
Hello gonzalef,
[#welcome] to the forum. [:)]
Floquil Polly S makes those colors in an acrylic paint.
USSR UNDERSIDE BLUE (15200)
USSR TOPSIDE GREEN (34201)
USSR DARK TOPSIDE GREY (36176)
USSR LIGHT TOPSIDE GREY (36270)
USSR LIGHT EARTH BROWN (33434)
I would also recommend getting thier airbrush thinner too, believe me it will help in the spraying.

Cheers

FS numbers (35164 and 36440) I think these are the colors you are looking for the Yak 38.

Ain’t this a great forum. There is always someone with the answer. Can you imagine just how tough our hobby would be without this level of communication?
Thank you guys for your help. As Swanny says (specially for people like me that I’m starting on modeling againg after a looong time), there is always someone with the right answer for every single question.
