I just seen that Hobby Lobby has opened a store in Danville, VA that’s 240 miles away that means that they’ll be here in Maryland within about 2 years, that’s way closer then Ohio and it’s only about 5 hours away
That would be great if they opened up one here in maryland. Tired of everyone else getting all these great deals on kits at 50% off while I sit here and drool.

course they would open something like that AFTER I leave. I was forrtunate enough to have found Grandads Hobby shop before I left. Before that I had to hope I could find what I was looking for at a little shop on Fairfax county pkwy the deals mostly with model trains

50% at Hobby Lobby is alright but it can’t touch the 75% on selected kits at the local Hobbytown USA. I just got 3 kits with a retail value of over $58.00 for less than $11.00!!![:D]
Why is that? There are some nice model shop in Belgium, I recently visited Antwerp and there is a very good hobby shop behind the hilton. I also rebemer there beeing a model shop in hasselt. There are probably more out there…
Maybe you should ask some of the Belgian members for more info.
Remco, Ive found one Hobby Shop in Brussels and thats about an hour drive for me (from Mons) Antwerps another hour and half… and this to my foriegn language skills and Im up creek without a paddle…
I live in York , PA there is only one small hobby store here , I wish a hobby lobby would open here , I have to get most of my kits on ebay or drive atleast a hour to find a bigger hobby store with a decent collection of model kits , and with gas prices out of control here its now 3.35 gal and going up it gets to be expensive to drive a long distance .
i feel your pain to guys i wish they would open one up here in savannah,ga. the good thing about this weekend i am going to columbia ,sc for the weekend and iknow they have one thier already puled up the map to see how i need to get thier[:D][:D]
