XF-85 Goblin, finished

Beautifull work Darwin…great subject!! I’ll never forget those old films trying to snag that little guy in the air. Pretty hairy stuff.

Oh yeah… that says MIG killer all over it! HAAA! Designed to swarm the enemy fighters and buzz the enemy’s ‘ear canal’ with annoying and distracting sounds!

I’m delighted with your great job on the build. I never knew a model of it existed! Very NEAT-O!

I get tired of seeing all the modern “teen” jets, especially the gray over gray with gray trim, so I frequently build the early jets that had some color to them. I also like “weirdo” planes, so this fits right in with both ideas.

Outstanding work Darwin! I gotta agree, the older jets (especially the unique ones) really are spectacular to see. Thanks for the pics, awesome work! [bow]

Very nicely done, You’ve inspired me to finish my 1/48 Special Hobby kit of the Goblin I started awhile back.

Aye, you’re a man after me own heart! [:D] I’m not really a jet guy, so I definitely need another “hook” if I ever build one. My 1/72 B-36 is pining for a little Goblin of its own, and it’s defintely on the list of “to buy” kits. I just want to find a decent quality one for relatively cheap.

Really nice to see one built. Nice work!

Great work on a rare subject. [tup]

Wow!! grat subjet! it´s nice see thois kinds of projets in the forum… I´m not alone!! heheh

Great work, Darwin!

I’d love to see a picture of it next to another 1/72 plane to better get an idea of scale.
