Is there a kit out on the market of a German WWII cameraman from like the ardennes offensive, or can someone post a picture of a WWII camera used to take photos for propaganda??? Also does anyone have any ideas for scratchbuilding a camera???
Here’s a little info on WWII War Correspondents in general but I don’t know of a figure being made. Shouldn’t be too tough a conversion though. They pretty much wore the same gear as US Infantry with a “press” tab on the shoulder.

Verlinden made a set of German movie photographers at one time. Not sure if they are still available. Check out modelmecca.com
Hi,
ICM, a Russian Company made a set of Panzer crewman in 1/35 scale for diorama purposes. The poses are such that the crew pose in front of a Panzer while one of the figures hold a camera and takes a snapshot of the crew. It was one kit in a series of panzer crews at different stages of the war.
The scratchbuilt option is quite open. Kodak Brownie cameras were widely used by soldiers to take photographs since WWI. Moviecameras of the time was basically a rectangular box with a lens and two reel housings on top on a tripod. It should be easy to make. I’ll check to see if I have any pic’s I can download for you. Also check out the Time/Life series of books on WWII. They have a couple of photo’s of cameramen in action.
Good luck,
Tappie

Roberto, Thats exactly what I’m after! or atleast the camera would be useful… I am starting a diorama of that pic of the paratroops ontop of the Tiger 2 222, and I will add the guy who was filming/photographing them.
