They only “broke rank” for a second or so, then, back to the mission.
Very cool under pressure.
So I got sucked in to the Youtube vortex and spent the last hour listening to RAF and Luftwaffe radio chatter. All the British crews sound very loose and cool under pressure! The Luftwaffe crews sounded very methodical, almost mechanical. Amazing.
