My great uncle was a mechanic during WW 2. We believe he served in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. I am looking for any references that show vehicle repair in these theaters. In the field or at repair depots (if that is even the right term). I want to create a diaroma showing repair work on some vehicle. I have finally found a few pieces like an engine lift with a workbench and compressor. I just have no idea of a setting?
I have seen pics of mechanics working Jeeps by flipping them on their sides to work on the drivetrain .
