WW2 Spotting aircraft

Just got the Hs 126, 1977 Airfix kit, For its age it has very good detail and fit.
Had the Storch, already.
Any major recce, spotting planes missing from the collection?
Thought about the Westland Lysander…Is the 1/72 Airfix any good?
Any others in 1/72 scale?

Hi Thyamis, i would go for the Matchbox lysander, its better than the airfix one. frog also did a lysander that is supposed to be the best of the three but finding one will be quite hard. ( try www.kingkit.co.uk ) Greg

How about a L-4 Grasshopper ( piper cub)?

Regards, Dan

Are you looking for just the light aircraft or all recce vairiants? There are recce versions of most of the major fighters of the war including the Spit, P-51, Mosquito, and P-38 just to name a few.

Interesting…I thought about light aircraft initially and I 'd better stick to that otherwise the collection will grow to monster size!!! I think I saw the L-4 somewhere…

Sword makes an L-4 in 1/72nd scale. I believe HobbyCraft has a 1/48th L-4.
