Thanx RSaddlemire. The pics came out pretty good for a basic 2 megapixel digital camera. Figures a week after the airshow, me and my fiancee go out and get a great 5 megapixel camer.

Great shots. My wife and I were there on Saturday working at the ramp gate (we’re both members of the museum), and Sunday I was on the flight line and she was at the main gate.
That was the ninth show I’ve attended, and overall it was really good. I loved seeing the P-38 fly! What an awesome plane!

Even though I was there on saturday when it was pretty much rainning its behind off, I had a great time. Wish I could have seen the Lightning fly, considering its one of my favorite aircraft. I was just happy with seeing the lightning up close. Lufbery I would really like to become a member of the museum and help out with the P-61 restoration, but work and kids pretty much take most of my time away from doing anything like that.

As a matter of fact I do. I took about 25 pictures alone of Briefing Time, Yankee Warrior and Panchito. But most of my focus was on Briefing Time considering it wasn’t covered due to the rain. I will get them on when I get home from work.
My wife and I joined, but we don’t work on the P-61. Mostly we help out with the WWII weekend and attend the annual members picnic. [:D]
I’d like to make it down to your area some time soon and see the museum at the proving grounds! I’ve heard it’s pretty awesome.

LOL lufbery, you can say that. I pass by there everyday, to and from work. They have moved a bunch of stuff to another building to restore alot of the tanks that used to sit by the road coming in the back gate. They had to move it cause someone sued the base for having them in the middle of the four lane road and hitting them. [D)][D)] I mean how can you not miss seeing a tank in the middle of the road, let alone hit one. But to say the least, they have a great collection and are doing some outstanding restorations. Whenever I go there I always give to the fund for them to build the hangar style buildings they plan on building to house their collection to get them out of the weather and to help them maintain their collection. They have a neat little gift shop with a bunch of armor kits at a pretty decent price.
