WW1 Sturmpanzerwagen A7V 1/35

I have just found one of these big "Beasties" by Tauro Models and have had a bit of a look. It even has the interiors.

The castings do not look too bad but some clean up will be needed. Anyone know how accurate this kit is to the real thing. I assume that this kit may be the only game in town for this tank ???

I know there are kits of the WW1 British tanks by Emhar but not a lot. I assume it really come down to numbers and the dirty $$$$.

I personally would like to see a few more like this out as well as the old ugly armoured cars.

Anyone else into this stuff, where the origins of the Tank sprang from? [;)]

Actually, I’m pretty sure there are several renditions of the A7V, in both resin and plastic, though the Tauro is the only 1/35 one. I wish I could remember the URL to that one WWI site, it had reviews on a lot of them.

I have just found this link, not sure if that is what you were refering to…

As for 1/72 cf 1/35 I find with fat fingers and getting older the smaller scale models are too B****y hard to deal with … LOL
