I am looking for websites that might provide detailed paint schemes for various WW2 aircraft.have been unsuccessful thusfar. Can anyone suggest some or know of any?[?]
Hey lerxst,
Click here http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/index.html for a site called Don Color that has some decent color drawings for camo schemes of WWII birds, as well as modern.
I’m not one for relying on artists’ renditions, but these are pretty nice, if somewhat simple, and are a good general reference. There’s also a few color matching charts on this site.
I have a static thread on a forum where I moderate called “BlackWolf’s File Cabinet”. The purpose of this thread is to provide some links for good reference sites to be used as a general research tool for the aircraft modeler. I’ll continually be updating this thread with new links as I go through my bookmarks or come across good sites. Please drop by the forum and, if interested, take a look at this thread at http://www.scalehobby.com/forum/index.php . It’s a growing forum and we’d love to have you folks on board!
Fade to Black…
Hey, that is an awesome web site, i am sure that is going to be very helpful to all the modelers (like myself) who are just starting in this hobby, and also why not to all the ones who has more experience, thank you, it´s been very helpful for me, thanks a lot!
try this one as well…http://www.cbrnp.com/profiles/quarter2/index.html
Mer,
You’re an angel!
I had a bookmark to that page and lost it, couldn’t remember the name and forgot all about it! Good things come back to those who wait…
Mandrake,
No prob. I get as much out of helping folks and sharing stuff as I do in actually building.

Thanks again man i really appreciate it
My very best Regards
