WW 2 U.S. Armor interior color(s)

I’m sure that this has been discussed before but I am not able to find anything on this subject. I have seen instructions from kits that indicate FS 17875 - Insignia White (a gloss white). Is this reliable info?
I seem to remember that the APC’s in 'Nam were a pale, pale green or blue interior color (Sky?). Granted I’m speaking of 2 different eras but a lot of equipment back then (almost 40 years ago!!) wasn’t really that old.
Any suggestions? or info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Doug Goulbourn

Closed top AFVs, tanks, in WWII and still today are semi-gloss white on the inside. Open top vehicles (APCs, tank destroyers, etc) in WWII were painted the same inside as out, usually OD green. In Vietnam, APCs were originally painted semi-gloss white early on, then it was discovered this made them very visible and the color was changed to a pale green, called seafoam green. Seafoam green is still used on the interior of APCs (M113, M2 Bradley, etc.) today.

HeavyArty,
Thanks for the info; it is greatly appreciated and I can get on with my Sherman build.
Thanks again.
