Wrecked Polish Artillery Tractor (Re-sized Images)

Hi guys, When I checked in today I noticed the very large image size so I think its fixed, I hope the huge size of the images was not to inconvenient .

I was inspired by the amount of wrecks going around and wondering how people got the finish. I won this Mirage hobbies kit as a spot prize at the annual show and decided to wreck it. its out of the box.

I wanted it to look as if it was lying in the corner of a field for about 40 or 50 years. I’m not completely finished but close, Thanks for viewing and as usual all comments welcome.

Regards,

Terry.

THank You for viewing, I really wanted to use those Mig pigments that were sealed up for so long.

Regards,

Terry.

nice and realistic, my friend, nice and realistic.

WOW! That’s incredible work. I quite sure my attempt at “wrecking it” would have turned out much differently!
I’ve heard good things about MIG pigments, and this dio is a fabulous testimonial.

Very convincing. The color of the bare steel is excellent.

I don’t know what to say. I looked at the pictures before I read and I thought it was metal. Looks great.

nice Patina work man!! Looks very convincing!

It looks like it is a polish tankietka tks changed to tractor.

I know because i modeled one tks (and i’m from poland)

terry my bro!-- you have be holdin’ out on me!!-- you turned and ‘odd’ subject into a work of art! the coloring, paint and pigments look perfect-- nice job man!![tup]-- treadwell

Thanks for the very kind words , I forgot to do a break down for time but here goes,

Building about 10 hours, Airbrushing about an hour and finishing about 12 hours in total over a couple of days.

To put a title on it, I think its a C7TP tractor used for heavy artillery and vehicle recovery, there was also a rail version to the best of my knowledge

Regards,

Terry.

Very nice work, Terry.

I can honestly say I haven’t seen a lot of actual wrecks that looked this “good”. I’m truely impressed.
