My brother just asked me about going to the World Model Expo this year in Chicago, and I have to admit I don’t really know anything about it. I’ve been to a few IPMS shows and enjoyed myself so I told him I’d look more into it. It looks to be a lot of figures and miniatures which isn’t my biggest interest. Has anyone ever gone to one? Are there more modeling categories there? Thanks!
World Expo is held every three years. Most times, it’s in Europe. It was last stateside in Boston in 2005. It’s a great event. there’s some armor, but, yes, mostly figures. Ans some incredibly beautiful work will be seen. The best painters in the world will be displaying there. World Expo Site If you can get there, it’s well worth the trip. 8-9 of us from our club in Massachusetts will be in attnedance.
