Working with resin

I have a couple of questions regarding resin.
What product is the best to be used for filling air bubble holes in resin?
Should it be primed before painting?

Thanks in advance for your help.

  1. You can use CA (superglue), or any of the modeling/auto, etc. putties to fill holes in resin. Whatever works best for you.

  2. It never hurts to prime resin prior to painting.

To fill bubbles in resin, there a number of ways.

  1. epoxy and micro ballons
  2. CA and baby talc - easier than 1, dries faster too.
  3. bondo or any auto body filler
  4. thick gap filling CA
  5. straight epoxy or resin

more important to prepping resin is that you wash it prior to any painting - just found that out the hard way.
