Building Dragon’s Initial Tiger kit. In step 1 you have the choice to make the torsion bar suspension ‘workable’ or not. Since the kit tracks are not ‘workable’ I was wondering if it’s worth the effort to make the suspension ‘workable’ or not? Anyone done this yet? What did you do?
Glenn
the main reason for the working suspention that i can see are that, you can do dioramas with uneven ground easier than the normal kits
get the suspetion to work on the ground then glue it in place
i cant see any other use of it, if you get working tracks like fuils, how long will the suspention last with the wait of the kit and tracks on it
I would have to agree with Captain Caveman
The “workable” suspension will be noticed with uneven ground that can be found in a diorama. Even if your model will be standing on a even plaque, knowing that this fine 1/35 replica has infact working suspension is work the price of the extra work.
(Am I insane?)

Working suspention makes the model more visually interesting on an uneven too.
I have decided not to have the suspension ‘workable’. After reading responses from this website and several others it looks like glueing everything down will lead to less problems in the long run. I wasn’t intending to display this Tiger in a diorama setting anyway. Thanks to those who responded!
