Here’s some detail shots of my 40" original design ship I’m working on now. Still got lots of sanding and filling to do, but gives you an idea of how I apply detail and structure. Extensive use of sheet styrene (4’ x 8’ sheets from local plastics company are MUCH cheaper than buying those little sheets at hobby shop), rod, tube, and lots of kitbashing (non-white parts in the photos).

Wow! That’s quite impressive!

Thanks, I’ll take some more shots this weekend of the starboard side and the model overall.

Painting is going to be hell since I have many many areas that are hard to get to, but I built this with removable sections so that’ll help somewhat. Painting is my LEAST favorite part (well, filling seams and sanding also). I love building, but not finishing a model.
