Work for Fruils

Hi guys, its been a while i know. busy busy at the moment. i have lots to catch up on on here and also loads to post. Will do both shortly.

Just thought i would share what i was asked to do by Fruil tracks the other day. I had to drive to Bovington and measure as much detail as i could on a Churchill tank sat outside the museum. Easier said than done really. I had to draw it from three different angles then measure every aspect of the link that i could. I was frozen when I finished as it was late afternoon on a Sunday.Museum was shut and i just finished before the sun got fed up waiting for me and went down. Wife was sat in car aswell but no complaints from her as she had the radio and heater on. Anyway it was the Churchill with the links that were supposed to deal with wet ground i think. The tread resembling the char B tread where as the other tread resembling Panzer 3 in style. Funny as i have seen both Churchills at the museum countless times but never realised they had different tracks. I think i may have a set of fruils or two on the way for taking the trouble. Nice to get involved.Andy.

Oh, I thought you wanted to work FOR some Fruils…

Anyway, on a serious note; it should be quite the !http://www.valerielin.com/info/vsites/167/news/blackhat.gif*feather in your hat to be appointed by such a major component in the modeling industry to provide information for a new product.*

A few sets for 'ya work …yeah, to say the very least.

Me too DM. But I bet he gets some Friuls out of the deal.

Sounds like a great project to be involved in and hopefully some future good news for our Allied enthusiast bretheren to boot! [B]
