WOOHOO...I got mine too!

Came home to find a very heavy box on my porch. It was like I am 6 years old on Crhistmas morning[:P] Now I just have to get doog to sell me his and have a very cool set of book ends.

The grin on your face makes you look like you’re a six year old! LOL. Congrats on owning a little (albeit heavy) piece of history!

like a child with a new toy.[:D]

Wow, these tracks are becoming quite popular aren’t they? Very cool, congrats. Imagine a KT track. [:O]

Good score Marc!!!

Here ya go, wing_nut! Don’t we make a nice pair?! LOL!

Hey! I’ll give you a brand new 1/35 DML Porsche King Tiger for it–whaddya say old buddy, ol Pal? [swg] LOL!

All I need is maybe a dozen more or so to put around my tires for the coming winter, LOL!

Seriously though; it looks like you got a nice one too! Did you manage to get the track pin out yet? A little bit of WD40 will do wonders! It’s in there kinda tight though–just tap the end of it with a hammer. It’s a heavy sucker, huh?

[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D] Not quite an exact match though. There is a large hair discrepancy.[:(]

My pin popped out pretty easy. No oil needed, just a couple of taps with a hamnmer and a wood dowel.

Question… what would have gone into the hole in the end of the pin to hold it in place?

Sweet! Looks Awesome … A friend of mine has a neighbor that has an MG 42 can’t wait to see that!!! Get another one and you can have book ends LOL . How cool would that be ?

Marc any chance we might get to take a look at this at next years AMPS?[:-^]

I’d like to know, are there any type of casting marks on these, like letters or numbers?

Yeah, I saw that Marc; I’m thinking some sort of a cotter pin, huh? Mine actually has the sheared-off secondary pin in there, whatever it was? It’s pretty stuck-fast.

It’s basically the same arrangement as my axle setup on my Suzuki! [:I]

Will this help?

It was found at Prime Portal. [:D]

Jeff

Doog,

are you telling us that your Suzy is based on a German WW2 Pz IV tank?

Okay, so here’s mine:

Sorry, no pictures of me. I don’t want to ruin a perfect pair of book ends! [swg]

Who’s up for a midnight run to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds? Might be able to score some Panther tracks …

Perfect photo reference, Jeff–thanks!!!

Well, it’s about as indestructible as one! LOL!
