FYI
There’s a NEW kind of Wood Decal out now which uses a Base Color of your choosing to put down a laser printed Clear decal with a Sublte Grain on it. There are Seven different GRains so there are an infinate amount of out comes for any kind of wood you’d want to simulate. P51 Cockpit flooring ? WWI Albatros Fuselages, Etc ?

They are from a Europen AM Decal maker SPADA avaiable here in the US at :

Wow that looks awesome, but I gotta ask… Where can I buy the glow in the dark star decals on the inside of the fuselage???[swg]
Cool! I simply HAVE to get myself some of these. Thanks!
Dear RAD
Thanks for asking (Blush) The " glow in the dark star decals on the inside of the fuselage? " That is a late test attempt of mine at making (AH) Austro-Hungarian Yellow “Early Sworl” pattern. I choose an AH Profile for this Bird.

I used Italian Misterkit Acrylic WWI ACFT Colors. I used AH05 Alb DK Green for the WIngs Uppersides and AH01 Austro-Hun Clear DOped Linen for the Undersides. I sealed it in future and Then set about to make the Yellow “sworls” Using AH02 Sworl Yellow. I guess the lighting and my camera make it look “GLow in the Dark” but it’s actualy a light mustard-ery yellow.

I was going to Stencil and Spray the pattern (above) at first. But I spent so much time making the mask which didnt stand up to repeated uses SO I wiped it all off Sprayed it green again and Iam ready now to do it ALL over again. After making the pattern by hand so much for the mask I decided to go back and DO the WHole thing by hand Now.
I ran out of space to test different applicators SO I started using the inside of the Rear of the fuselage instead which I knew would be hiddin. I found a “Micro-Brush” Applicator to be the right size and I ready to use that after I can get along on the fuselage and get it closed up.
I am embarrased to say I am stuck on the very First interior sub-assembly, the Engine mounts and four bulkhead formers. Its Six piecies, 4 Vertical and 2 Horizontal which all have to glue together at once. ANd they are not a Tight fit. THey do not “Snap” together. They are all Loose ! FLopping around at the same time. AS soon asn I can figure how to put a dozen clips on that thing to hold that chineese puzzle together I’ll be off and running ready to close it up so I’ll can finsh these decasl and get my “Sworl” ON !
Yors Mike
