I hope the fuel truck doesn’t make this too off-topic, resulting in the thread being moved to the Odds & Ends forum…

What an amazingly clear & crisp photo (considering the era). Really gives you the feeling of being there on the tarmac.
its amazing everything in that pic is sooo… clean… no gunk, oil mud nothing… like they actually… gasp… clean their stuff.
Great pic . I’ve had a few rides in the old DC-3. Great Aircraft.
Regards, Rick
Yeah…and look at the shine on that bird! Good one Steve.

Great picture, I love the polished metal skin and the chrome plated props. It was certainly a different world in those days.

Hmmmmmm…I gotta 1/48 gas truck kit that looks just about like that one. The guy pumping the gas is even wearing that style of suit and cap!!!
I may have to find a Revellogram DC-3. [:-^]
What a great pic - I love pics like that - it’s like a little time capsule of our history - and these things are gone forever.
Fantastic pic Steve - thanks for sharing your pics with us. I always look forward to seeing what you’ve posted.
