To me, this fella is the epitome of the fighter pilot.

Robin Olds was credited with 13 aerial victories and another 11.5 on the ground during WWII. He added 4 MiGs to his bag during the Vietnam War, although he probably actually destroyed at least twice as many. All of his personally-assigned aircraft were named SCAT.

If you wanna learn more about this fella, just do a Google search with his name, there’s plenty out there…

This “Hero” has a dark side to his glory. It came at tremendous expense to others. To go into detail would probably be libelous.
