You keep amazing me with all your pics. This looks to be a wind tunnel test.
Next, you might be posting a YB-40 or some other rare bird. Like a B-17 with 5 engines.

the whole aircraft looks new, except where the engine cowls are, which looked like they have been on and off many times.

Down behind and below the left rudder is that a cart with a wooden spoked wheel? Amazing mix of technologies. Very cool picture, give you any ideas for diorama?
