Thanks for the beautiful photo, Steve. There’s a lot of people around this area that will miss the F-14. The F-18s that are replacing them are a lot louder and not very popular with the dolts that build their houses under an established landing pattern. The sound of freedom is lost on them.

I have to agree … great photo of a great bird. It’s just sad to see them phased out, but it happens to them all sooner or later.
