I wanted to thank ajlafleche, Bull , Swanny, tho9900, Scratchbuilt, maddafinga, ABARNE for the great advice given to me on my Vintage Wolfman Model. I ended up airbrushing it with Model Master Flat Clearcoat and then as suggested I highlighted the eyes, teeth and Claws with Future. It came out looking Great. I am new to the hobby and the forum and really appreciate all the help. Is their a way I can attach a picture of the model to show it off? Also, not sure if I mentioned but I purchased this old vintage wolfman model at a toy show in Saint Charles Illinois this last weekend. I was thinking of building and painting one from scratch, possbily Dracula or Frankenstein next. The idea of getting another vintage one either complete or a kit is very appealing to me. Any advice on how I can obtain more of these vintage models before I attend the next toy show? I was thinking about E-Bay possibly.
If these are the old (early 60’s original release Aurora kits) , they’ve been re-released several times, including a series from the 70’s, IIRC,’ which were made of glow in the dark plastic. Polar LIghts would be the way to go on these, if you can find them. The original Arora’s will command collector proces while the Polar Lights were released much more recently and won’t get nearluy as high a price. The original series, included the wolfman, the mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster and a “working” guillotine, which raised the ire of many parents who were dismayed at seeing their sons decapitate a victim of the French Revolution!

You are very welcome, and I am glad to hear that you achieved your desired results with the kit. For your question about attaching a photo of the finished kit, you have a couple of options, one is to place the photo directly in your e-mail (if you look at some of the postings on this web page you will see examples of this) the other is to attach the photo as an item which can be opened by the reader. If you want to show multiple photos, I would recommend the use of attachments, if only showing one or two photos, I would consider placing them in the e-mail itself.
As far as the old monster kits are concerned, I purchased several of the monster kits when they were rereleased by Monogram a few years ago. These included the Mummy, Wolfman, Dracula, Frankenstein, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Phantom of the Opera. The most recent rereleases were done by Polar Lights (recently sold and I do not know what has or will happen to their kits, but fear the worst) and they also added new kits such as Michael Meyers (from the Halloween series of movies), a new Phantom of the Opera, a new mummy from the movie the Mummy Returns, and the Headless Horseman from the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. They also rereleased many of the old Aurora kits that Monogram did not, such as the Guilotine (mentioned in a previous response), the Witch, the Hunchback, and the Forgotten Prisoner to name just a few. Anyway, if you have a large hobby shop in your vicinity, you may find some of the older kits lying around on their shelves, otherwise I would suggest performing some searches on Ebay.
