WIP to be: Which kit shall I bring forth from the stash?

As I finally near the completion of my StuG, I need to decide which kit to build next, so I can get any necessary accessories and such on order. This thread will I guess becom my next WIP thread. So here is the portion of my stash I’m going to choose my next build from. What do you guys wanna see?

  1. Mirage or RPM Polish Tankette- I will scratchbuild the interior for the RPM one.
  2. Tamiya Marder III M- I’ll get a fighting compartment for it, and probably some indy tracks (not friuls).
  3. AMG Soviet NKL-26 Aerosan- Been waiting years for someone to make a kit of this- it just came out.
  4. RPM Lorraine Schlepper (I think?)- With a large sheet of P.E. and Friuls.
  5. LionRoar R-75 w/ sidecar
  6. Verlinden 1/48 Flak gun
  7. Tamiya Jeep Willys with Verlinden super detail kit
  8. Bronco CV3/35 Tankette (comes with full interior + engine).
  9. ICM T-28- with a PE set, and maybe Friul- depends on how bad the kit tracks are.
  10. Tamiya Sd.Kfz. 222 with a huge LionRoar PE kit, and a Tank workshop interior.

Here is vote number two for the Marder III because, like Tigerman, I think they are freakin’ awesome!

I’ve got the early Tamiya Marder III, I’d like to build the Marder III M too.

Well, I first have to finish up the StuG, and then I forgot to mention that I’ll have to finish up my Panzer 1 first… before I move on to any of these. My Panzer 1 is alreadys tarted- and the interior construction is completed- that should only take me a few weeks, though. I don’t know about the Marder- I agree they look cool, but I am personally a bit tired of the 38(t) chassis. I really have no idea- it could go in any direction- I’m no more inclined to build any one than the others. That’s obviously why I’m asking you guys!

Also, for those people voting for the Marder- what should I get for the fighting compartment? What brand makes one? I know I’ve seen some before- advice? Also, can you buy JUST Magic Tracks fromt he dragon website?

Uhmmm tough decision. Let me think. Thinking, thinking, thinking. I can’t decide. So I did the next best thing, I threw a dart.

It landed right ------wait for this-------between the Tankietka and Marder III. So I guess you have to build them both. And don’t try to weasel out of it or the giant carpet monster will find you,

I have now changed my vote, you didn’t say I couldn’t in the rules so bleh!

I would now like to vote for the Tamiya Sd.kfz 222 Afrika Corps with PE set. I know how good you are with PE and I like this build.

Build the Marder IIIM afterwards!

That’s a different set of kits you have there, all I’m used to seeing is Dragon, Italeri & Tamiya in my LHS. Unless I go internet shopping I never see stuff like this normally.

Hi Njal,

My vote goes to Sd.Kfz 222 with lots of PE. It is your build so whatever you choose will make everybody happy. If you can’t decide, then set all kits on the floor just like you did and flip a quarter toward to the kits with closed eyes. [blndfld]

I’d go with one of the tankettes.We don’t see many around here.I’d like to see the flamethrower version myself.
