I got a chance to work on the build this evening as Ezra, my grandson went home. The house is too quiet! lol! Ezra helped me with the fueselage. It went together very well. The only issue I saw was the tail. It had a nice beautiful gap, fixing it with some Tamiya White putty did the job. lol!
I will go ahead and continue with the build. The next step will be sanding the putty on the tail and making adjustments as needed. Here is what has been completed. Thank you all for the support. I greatly appreciate it!
Looks familier[:P] did you have any trouble attaching the engines to the wings? I have a large seam/gap/ridge that I am having trouble getting rid of. I did find that the best way to attach the cowls was 2 part epoxy. I hope it helps: S_D
No Sailing_Dutchman, there were no issues in regards to the attachment of “engines to the wings.” I want to thank you so very much for all of your suggestions. It’s greatly appreciated.
I have you and the missus always in my prayers . After my latest scare I realize how important you are to her and vice versa . Well , shoot as a couple you are important to us too . So There ! T.B.
Hey Toshi, sorry to hear about Mrs. Toshi (I’ve been away from the forums for a while so I’m just catching up). My thoughts and well wishes to you both.
This build is looking great. I’ll be following, as I have this kit in my stash too. Probably won’t get to it for a while, but I’ll be taking notes.
There was also this old ESCI 1/72 decal sheet. Unfortunately, it was printed in black, not red. I tried to re-print it in red some years ago, but it was a failure.
