*WIP* Revell 1/32 F-14A Pt.V (Lot's of Pics)

Here is an update on my Tomcat. Primer coat and preshade are done. Primer coat was done with Krylon Flat White in the rattle can and shading was done using a graphite rub and No.2 pencil. I am hoping to have this beast airbrushed this weekend with primary color. I want to thank GAmodelmaker for the VF-41 decals which are exactly what I was looking for. This cat will represent VF-41 Fast Eagle 107 which splashed one of two Libyan Su-22 Fitters over the Gulf of Sidra in 1981.

Comments welcome.

Should be a winner Rand. Keep us posted.

Regards, Rick

Nice to see ya making good progress on the F-14 Rand. It’s comming along very nicely and cant wait to see the beast painted. Keep us posted on the updates.

Steve

Rick, Steve, Thanks for the kind words!

If mother nature smiles upon me I hope to start airbrushing primary color today or tomorrow since the outdoor temps should be warm enough to airbrush outside, I am going to use Tamiya Sky Gray (XF-19) mixed with Dark Sea Gray (XF-54) since its the closest colors I have to Lt. Gull Gray. Rght now I cant get to the LHS to get more paints so I am going to use what I have on hand.
