Hi all.
While waiting on P/E and P/E bendy tool to arrive for my King Tiger project, decided to start work on my leFH18 that I’ll be using for a dio I’m planning. I planning on an Afrika dio with an Sd.Kfz.11 and the howitzer.
Sub assemblies have been completed in preperation for painting.
Still the odd bit of filling and cleanup to be done but it’s nearly there.
AFV Club make a great kit, with great detail, BUT I hate tiny parts attached to ‘tree stump sized’ sprue!!
Anyway, here’s what I’ve done so far…

Yeah that is one good lookin kanone. It does look like a resin kit!
Great job on the assembly. Very neatly done. I was considering buying this kit from the LHS but was holding off till the price dropped a lil bit. I look forward to seeing this guy all painted.

It really is a good looking kit!!!
Anyway, since it’s too cold at the moment to start the painting process, I’ve decide to start on the vechicle. I’ll be using:
- AFV Club Sd.Kfz.11
- Aber Sd.Kfz.11 Vol-1 basic detail set
- Aber Sd.Kfz.11 Vol-2 additional set (engine overlay)

Nice work on the artillery piece so far, ought to be a nice pairing with the Sdkfz 11. [tup]
I’m loving it. I haven’t seen one of these built up.
sweet build…paint would almost ruin it…
…so…clean…! Looks great, my builds always end up with he PE bent wrongly and half a tube of glue seeping out at every joint! Cant wait to see the paint!
