Here is my Adolf so far, base coats only and still need more hat detail. Skin tones in oils- pics not picking up subtle details I’ve got going on hiis sallow face.
I’d like to thank ajlafleche for turning me on to Vallejo acrylics. But what the hell am I gonna do with all this Tamiya paint?[%-)][:D]

You’re welcome. As far as the Tamiyas…know anyone who shoots airguns? My friend who does says their targets are just about the same size as Tamiya paint bottles. [:D]
Looks like you are off to a nice start, I’d like to see it when you are finished.
My friends already kid me about building German tank models, I don’t think I could display a Hitler figure without receiving some serious flak!

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I’m kinda wondering what the recipient’s wife will think about a statue of the Fuhrer in her house.
Here’s another coupla shots from today’s progress (man, I don’t know how I got away with painting today. It’s been like this: make cole slaw, paint, clean bathroom, paint, peel potatoes, paint, shovel up the dog s**t outback so the visiting kids won’t play with it, paint…). Still a teensey bit more detail on the cap’s emblem and trim. Then, I have no idea what I’ll do next. Probably dullcoat it so I can can screw it up in the wash.
If anybody has pointers for washing a 120mm figure, I’m all ears. Never got this far with one.
