1/48 scale Tamiya kit… using the tamiya decals… snugging them down with solveset…
so far so good with this build.

PTO planes were subjected to a lot of salt & sun, faded upper surfaces and heavy weathering really make these birds fly!
fermis recently posted a completed Hellcat that could be of use for weathering references.
Edward Hellcat Finished is the name of the thread.
Nice work on a great kit. I recently finished one for the weathering GB. The Tamiya decals were a bear to settle down.
