Hi!
Well, I don’t really know, But, the thing was in a Pocher box. As fare as I know it was a limited run one year only kit. You had to buy it through Pan-American World Airways!

Very nice job. I made the mistake of sand blasting the factory white paint off of mine. The kit turned out ok, painted it gunmetal, but not as smooth as if I would have left it along.
As a small side note my kit had no instructions, built it from box art and ALOT of dry fits. Nowhere near the detail you have however. I would love to build another Pocher kit…one of the old roadsters or such…cost and availability aside.
O Fits!
What a shame to hide ALL that beautiful complicated machinery inside that car Body. Fasten the Engine Hatch down and display that beauty, next to the Car. The Engine,The “Red Head” will get more looks always. Nice job on that. Plus you were right! I found Part of the instruction sheet and Way down at the Bottom it said HUBLEY, DISTRIBUTED in Europe by Pocher. 1958 was the date on the instructions. So I can’t say for sure. My kit was gifted to me in 63. It may have been a Pirate though. I can’t think of any reason why Hubley and Pocher ever got along!
I will say this though. The association with Pocher, if real, resulted in a better kit than our home Brewed one. There was no flash on the Metal parts and instead of stickers like “Home Brew” there were interior panels and window “glass”( The Window Glass, though correct in Profiles and finish, was actually made of real glass as thin as Medical Slide glass!. Like Pocher, the interior Components were soft and proper! I will say this though.I don’t think Pocher OR Hibley made the wheels. I have never seen “Stitch it yourself Wire Wheels” in any of the larger scales Except a Wrebbit (The 3-D Puzzle Folks) Mercede,s roadster Kit.(No Longer Available) They could be available in the E.U. though!
I was thinking originally to display engine separately, but:
