well, i was thinking about how there haven’t been many postings
of current afvs l8ly…
so, here’s one of my earlier efforts.
some of u may have already seen these pix,
but then again, u can never have 2 many abrams tanks !!!
sorry frosty all I see is a red and white X camo…[B)] Is it the one that used to be on Rons web site with your “pink panther”? If so I was really good… Very cool camo…
i know… i’m soooo frustrated !
yep, it’s the ‘dairy cow’ scheme one…
i just figured i needed 2 practice linking pix…
guess i was rite, but can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong this time…[:(]
oh, well…
frosty[:)]
Ron :
yep, it’s on ronusmgs site, armor gallery pg. 5 rite at the very bottom of the page.
there’s also a pic of the 1/35 dio that inspired mine (M1modelfsm is the tag on that 1)
i’ll bet it’s warmer in alaska today than it is here !!! [;)][:D]
Nice job frosty! Your camoflage pattern is great! [^][tup] I can see what you mean about “milk cow” Pattern! Perhaps you could write “Bessie” on the gun barrel! [:o)][:D]
As for your links I think I may know why it didn’t work.
From looking at your first post, it appears you left the spaces in your image tags. They should look like this:
[img] instead of [ img]
and [/img] instead of [/img ]
Look again, and you’ll see what I mean. The other possibility is what address you used to link it. Try this: when you Upload a pic to Ron’s site, once it is loaded, right-click and open the picture in a new window. Once it is fully open, right-click again on the picture and choose “Properties”. When the “Properties” dialog box appears, copy the address where it says: “Address(URL)” Then, when you put in your Image tags, paste that address in between them with no spaces. That should allow you to link them without any problems. If any of this isn’t clear, let me know and I’ll try to explain it more effectively.
Good Luck and keep those pics coming! I love looking at your great models! They are quite an inspiration to me! [bow][swg][tup]
Great looking M-1, Frosty! Thats a cool camoflage you did on this one. Is this the 1/72 Hasegawa kit? It looks like the ESCI kit but there are only 2 blow-off panels.
It definitely is the old Hasegawa M1E1. I’ve built too many Abrams kits in both 1/72 and 1/35 not to recognize one. One distinguishing feature is the turret weights added to the forward slope of the turret front.
DT:
thanx 4 posting the link… i’ve been trying 4 days to do it, but kept getting the
