Hi guys ( and gals). I haven’t seen this in my travels so I’ll ask here.
Are there examples of winter camo on M4A3’s? If not, how was the id numbers and stars handeled? Did the soldiers paint over them or around them? Assuming that the U.S. even did that sort of thing! Thanks in advance, Bob.
Basically it looks like they brushed white paint over the olive green original to varying degrees… and over the numbers and letts as per your question…
yeah… looks like they didn’t take a lot of time thinking on a camo scheme, might have even been on an individual units basis that they did it as there were plenty of photos of them still all olive drab.
