Very nice and easy build of Eduard’s Taifun in 1/48th. I added some Techmod decals to depict Willy Messerschmitt’s personal aircraft.
Finish is Mr Color Light Aircraft Grey with some oil weathering.

I like the weathering. It’s a cool plane. It’s like a tandem cockpit 109. I guess the 109 was influenced by the Taufin. It’d be perfect for taking dates to the alps for a picknic.
Wow, super nice clean sharp job. [Y]
Very nice build!
Beautiful job!
I really like this plane…for a plain ole plane, it’s a beauty!
Did you have issues with the canopy fit? (my example was a little rough)
Well done. I like this plane also and I really want to build it. It’s just a nice looking AC.

Excellent build on a plane you don’t see often enough.

It was ‘ok’ - needed a bit of work andit’s probably still not perfect tbh.
You…are correct, sir! Yes!
(That’s my imitation of Phil Hartman, imitating Ed MacMahon)
Don’t want to step on any toes, but that plane was actually a Bucker Bu-181 Bestmann, not an Me-108. They look very much alike, but, if you watch the movie closely, you’ll see the differences, especiallt the vertical stabilzer. Also, they had to manually crank-start the engine in the movie. If I remember correctly, the Me-108 had an electric starter.

And, great job on that Taifun, AdeB!!
