Will I make it?

Club contest is March 26. It is now March 6.
I haven’t even finished the interior, the fuselage still needs filling, I haven’t figured out what decals to use or what colors. I still have to detail the landing gear, canopy, and canopy rail. I’m thinking I can squeeze by,50/50. So what you guys think?Allen[?]
Forgot to mention the kit is the Me-109G-10 by Hasegawa in 1/48.

I know I probably wouldn’t make it…but then again I build at just above the speed of dark. That’s real slow but that’s just me.

You can, but you’ll need to get the lead out & the pedal to the metal [:)].

[#ditto] (and take two weeks off work/school)

I recommend lots of coffee and late nights. Go for it.
[tup] But just have fun and enjoy!!

IF not this contest then the next perhaps? after all it is the modeling not the contests. Don’t sweat it and just enjoy the build.

I never rush my self to make a deadline. I make too many mistakes and get further behind. If I know I have to have a model completed by a specific date, I allow plenty of time plus an extra month to complete it. I usually finish ahead of time. If I do fall behind, I don’t try to make up the time by rushing. Some people may be able to do it, but I cant. If you can work under pressure and tend to make few mistakes, than go for it. If you are like me, save it for another time.
