Great start !
Got multiple pictures figured out now how to type in the same post. That’s something I’ll figure out later. Anyway, you’ve seen a million of these the F4F Wildcat. Nearly completed this cockpit. First time using detail PE set for controls, etc. Not 100% happy but it’s OK. My last 1/48 scale cockpit I detail painted the dials and thought I got a better result. The PE just doesn’t look as tight and neat. I need practice if I’m going to continue with PE. One thing of note. There is a knob on pilots left that I think looks good. Not sure how I pulled it off the part was ridiculously small and went into a crazy small slot. I used hairspray chipping on the floor and sponge technique around the seat. I feel the hairspray is a more realistic technique.
As always criticism is welcome. The one seat harness has a nasty glue blob.

Now See! This proves what I have been saying all along. The Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force in those years did NOT seek out big tough guys to be pilots. Why? for instance if that were blown up full size, my neighbor would NEVER fit in there ! See, Us little guys do have something going for them!
