Wife said i had to re paint the holiday display...

Perfect weather conditions!

what scale is that

Needs more weathering [:P]

Not enough rust [whstl]

It was already weathered so I had to freshen it up!

Olive drab over neutral gray, or natural metal finish?

I asked the wife for Luftwaffle mottle, but she nixed the idea!

Does Santa use FS or RAL colors? [:O]

Did you match the colors to paint chips in the Official Monogram Santa’s North Pole Color Guide? [:P]

No man I am not one of Those modelers!I am an Anti rivet counter/color obsessive!

Verlinden makes a nice PE detail kit for that.

Wow!must be pricey!

What?! No preshading???

No panel lines either(Plywood construction)

Philo: looks like you used RLM colors…did you use red lead or red oxide primer? BTW, nice white wash.

I suggest setting your router at a shallow setting and plow some panel lines. A nice med grey wash on the lines will add some depth. How many gallons of Alclad will that project take if you decide to go NMF?[proplr]

Yeah it might take 2 gallons!

For the instrument panel, will you be using the kit one with the decal, or are you going aftermarket?[:D]

He could dry brush the details [^o)]

That usually works well on the old Monogram kits.[:D]

You guys are funny!

The nose profile isn’t right. Was this made by the ChiComs? The manufacturer should have asked me for my help since I know a guy who dated the sister who cut the hair for the mailman of the actual elf who worked on the original.
