As I was getting ready to leave for work this morning, I reminded my wife that I would be stopping by Hobby Lobby after work to partake in the 50% off model sale, she is very understanding because she has several craft related hobbies herself, so she too loves the HL.
Last year for her birthday I got her a gift card from guess where…HL, so she asks me this morning if I want the gift card because she says she doesn’t need anything right now and she doesn’t want it to expire, at first I told her no way, that was for her to use, but she insisted I take it!
What a great woman I have, she is always checking out the progress as I work on projects and often times tells me how cool something looks and even comes up with some great ideas to make things look better.
My wife is also one of the “rare breed” that supports my addiction/hobby. Good thing we don’t live in the same area, something tells me we’d be bumpin’ shopping carts like NASCAR drivers rubbin’ paint off the final curve! [;)] This HL isn’t going to know what hit 'em by the time I’m through with them this morning! [:)]
I know from experience that some women are not so cool, that is why I have the one I do and the others are gone. My current woman and I have been together for over 10 years and it seems like it just keeps getting better as the years go by.
I am always bringing home little surprises for her, and when her birthday rolls around this year I plan to buy her another HL gift card only this time double the value of the last one.
My wife was great until I just purchased my first Ebay buy. She for whatever reason, finally decided that I have enough in the stash. I even used her line “But honey I saved us all this money by getting such a deal on it”. Didn’t go over as well with her.
she sounds like a great girl alright, but are you sure you’re not talking about a fantasy wife ? all kidding aside, what i really want to know is, what exactly is the Hobby Lobby all about? ( i live in modelling b.f.e. out here )
