I was just wondering who’s posts on the forum that you always read regardless of subject? For me it is Swanny due to the consistant high quality of his work .And Lucien Harpress because he is always pushing the envelope with interesting.ambitious projects. Can you add to the list?
The subject of a post is the primary thing that catches my attention and makes me want to read it. A few people write in such a manner and post things that iritate me quite a bit, so I won’t read their posts at all. Swanny and few others always have very positive contributions to the forum, so I usually check out what they have to say. Berny13, PhantomTwo and a couple others are obviously experts in their fields, so I always read their posts to see what I can learn.
Sorry, but no-body’s,I do a quick scan if it interest’s me I read if not I will pass it by no matter who posted it.No offense, just time contstraints.Lots of info too little time, just gotta sift thru it.
Chuk’s Helldiver is a must read right now, that build is just too full of great information and ideas you dare not miss. Other than that it has to be the subject.
I don’t have any must-read posters. I’m following chukw’s Helldiver thread, not because it’s being written by chuk, but because it’s very informative.
I’ll read any thread, regardless of the original poster, if it’s a subject I’m interested in or if there’s something I can learn from it. Granted, there are people on the forum I consider to be FSM buddies and I’ll read their threads just to see what they’ve been up to. But if a subject holds no interst for me, I doeasn’t matter who wrote it, I probably still won’t read it.
Well put, my friend! I agree with that wholeheartedly. I find that I learn from nearly every post thread that I read, because they are all subjects that interest me. There are soem “subject matter experts” that I read everything they post, like Swanny, jeaton, yardbird78 and others. I find that 99% of the posters one the forum make a positive and valuable contribution, just noy always on a subject that interests me.
